WALPURGISNACHT "Moerasghesomp"

Walpurgisnacht is a Dutch band formed in 1996, but "Moerasghesomp" is the first release of the band. This demo contains 6 tracks of raw black metal in the vein of Darkthrone, Satyricon, Satanic Warmaster, Mayhem. Don't think this band is another pale copy of those bands. Of course we think a lot of Mayhem when listening "Moerasghesomp" but Walpurgisnacht has something special. The melancholic and epic touches combined to the raw side of its music give something special to this band. Without forget the vocals, sometimes typically black, sometimes epic, sometimes "haunted" and even narrative (second track). Highly recommended!
