HORDES OF THE MORNINGSTAR "Torture" Ep (Pray For Death productions) 2006
Hordes of the morningstar comes from the USA and deliver to us its debut release through vis new label P.F.D.. Based on anxiety, hatred, fear and existential frustration, the three songs (plus an outro and outro) give a Black Metal rarely fast but always heavy. The two guys behind H.O.T.M. are influenced by funeral doom bands of Finland and we can easily feel this during the listening of this Ep. Even if it's always hard to have an in-depth judgement with only 3 songs, this band have released a good Ep and offer a special and interesting Black Metal. Check this band and have your own opinion.
