THE STONE "MAGLA" CD (Folter Records) 2006
When I got the CD from Folter Records some weeks ago it was the first time I heard about THE STONE; it's a shame when I saw (in the biography) this Serbian band exists since 1996 and has already released 3 albums and other various stuff before "MAGLA". I was even more shameful when I was listening to the album; THE STONE offers an excellent Black Metal, quite technical and really personal. For example, in the Finnish Black Metal scene, you can find this cold atmosphere that no other scene manage to create. In the case of THE STONE, it's the same thing, there's something special that I can't describe, something shabby, something proper to this band! "Magla" is a very good surprise and makes me want to discover their older releases. Don't hesitate to discover this band, you won't repent it!
