After SUHRIM, Shiver Records presents another great Belgian Death Metal band! Like its label mates, ORDEAL is not a newcomer in the Death Metal scene as it was formed in 1991. However, "Atrocities" is the first band's album (after 2 demos: "Pagan" in 1995 and "Flee" in 2003) but we can feel a lot of experience from the musicians; Each track have its own identity, the technical mastery is excellent and the crushing vocals are the work of a talented singer. The listening of this album is a real pleasure, just imagine the meeting of BOLT THROWER, DEATH, MORBID ANGEL, MASSACRA and VADER with a touch of Swedish Death ("Rise from ash") and you get a true master stroke! Don't miss this release if you like old-school Death Metal with a powerful production!
