UNLIGHT ORDER "Through the gates of torment" MCD (Temple Of Darkness) 2006
This young Swedish band was formed in Linköping in December 2004 by 2 brothers SOAHC and MOLOCH. They have under their belt one demo ("Blooddawn" released in 2005) and one live ("Live in Vikingstad" recorded during their first liveshow!), and from now their first official release "Through the gates of torment" (released under the banner of the excellent Spanish label, Temple Of Darkness). The 5 tracks bring us back to the early 90's, when the Swedish Black/Death metal was at the top! "Through the gates of torment", the great "Key to the night" and "Sacrificed" remind me DISSECTION and UNANIMATED but with a raw, darker and colder approach à la WATAIN. Highly recommended to those who want to keep the true Swedish Black/Death metal flame alive! Hopefully a full-lenght album will follow soon!
