ACRIMONIOUS "Broken bonds of balance"

Acrimonious "Broken bonds of balance" 7"ep (Nuclear Winter Records) 2006

Acrimonious is coming from Greece and "Broken bonds of balance" is its second release after "Perdition gospel" (a 4 track tape released in 2003). The duo delivers to us 2 excellent black metal hymns à la Watain ("The dawn of horns" and "Lucien Nux")! The music is really inspired and the alternation in-between fast and mid tempos (reminds me a lot "The somberlain" and "Storm of the light's bane") is really judicious. The production (that sounds Scandinavian) as well as the technical mastery of the two protagonists is very good and we can easily predict that this band will be very soon an important act in the black metal scene. An excellent surprise!
