ACRIMONIOUS "The dawn of horns"

Acrimonious "The dawn of horns" 7"ep (Nuclear Winter Records) 2006

Acrimonious is coming from Greece and "The dawn of horns" is its second release after "Perdition gospel" (a 4 track tape released in 2003). The duo delivers to us 2 excellent black metal hymns à la Watain ("The dawn of horns" and "Luciens Nux")! The music is really inspired and the alternation in-between fast and mid tempos is really judicious (reminds me a lot the breaks we can find on "The somberlain" or "Storm of the light's bane").The production (that sounds Scandinavian) as well as the technical mastery of the two protagonists is very good and we can easily predict that this band d be an important act in the black metal scene. An excellent surprise!
